I’ve always dreamed of owning a bookshop. (It almost became a reality during Covid, but then I realised how rich I’d need to be to subsidise other people’s reading!) My bookshop won’t be just any bookshop, though. It will be a “Gallery of Books”. The books on display will be carefully curated. We’ll host exhibitions where scholars curate their own collections. Only hardcovers will be sold – all wrapped beautifully – and all at astronomical prices.
Until that dream becomes reality, I’ll have to be satisfied with an online gallery. All the books below link to Amazon (they have the widest distribution) and, should you make a purchase, I’ll earn a small affiliate income, which will inevitably be spent on, well, buying more books.
